The tool’s designers ranked the NSI categories on a scale of 1 – 8 (1 being the highest and 8 being the lowest) in terms of their potential impact in the three domains (agriculture, gender, and nutrition). Categories with a rank of 1-3 were designated as High, 4-6 as Med, and 7-8 as Low. See table to the right for more details on how this was done.
